Broken Equipment Productions, also known as BEP or FilnoBep, became a big inspiration to many people with not only their popular cartoons, but also their life story.

Twinn and Fatt Kidd, two twin brothers from New Orleans, Louisiana, began creating simple parody videos with only a desktop computer and a twenty dollar microphone. They lost everything they owned due to Hurricane Katrina, and was forced to evacuate to Atlanta, Georgia.

In Atlanta, the twins had no studio or equipment. They had to resort to their mother's equipment; Her laptop and headset microphone. Twinn and Fatt Kidd used the basics to create what they are mostly known for today. They did everything theirselves from voices, artwork, beats, lyrics, etc. After gaining a multi-million fanbase, and many feature publications, Twinn and Fatt Kidd linked up with Chris Cosper to fund the brothers and give them the right equipment they needed to take what they already established to the next level.

BEP went on to create numerous videos that made people give them the title of the funniest people on YouTube. Some even say the only reason they log on to YouTube is to see a BEP video. BEP has collaborated with many major names in the music industry like B.O.B. aka Bobby Ray, Playboy Tre, B Rich and Soulja Boy Tell Em without ever being signed to a major label.
